The audiobook contains all the latest updates and revisions of the 2011 paperback edition, including two essential new chapters that were not in the original version of the book. Completely unabridged, it gives many insights into the deeper reasons why people keep clutter and – most importantly – how to let it go and get on with your life.
I’m very happy to see this released. Through audio recordings I can pass a much deeper level of my book than people can get from just reading it themselves, and it’s a wonderful way for me to connect with people living in places I’m probably never going to visit to teach my workshops.
Over the years I’ve heard from many people who purchased the first audiobook edition I recorded (a very abridged 4-cassette version – remember cassettes?). Most of them told me they played it so much that the tapes literally dropped to bits. This new edition will be much more durable.

Hurray for the audio book!!!!! I’ve been waiting a long time to hear you read your book again. I listened to your book on cassette tapes (that finally wore out!) when I moved from my home of 18 years, and it was just impossible to resist clutter clearing while listening to the tapes. (Even my husband got into it, all the time cracking jokes about feng shui!) In fact I gained more and more energy to clear just while listening and doing. I think perhaps your voice carries the energy of your words in a very powerful way, more so than one might think.
At any rate, I’m once again about to embark on a long distance move, and I am so happy to be able to hear your encouraging words now coming out of my computer and Kindle! I can take the audio book to every room in the house. It can’t get much better than that.
