Protests have taken place in 32 countries to stop the rollout of 5G technology before it’s too late. “Think globally, act locally” is now the only way to halt it.
We’ve survived 1G, 2G, 3G and 4G, although no-one knows for sure what the health effects have been. But many people around the world are drawing the line at 5G, which will beam radiofrequency (RF) radiation that is tens to hundreds of times stronger than 4G through all living things non-stop.
Operated by a proposed 42,000+ satellites connected to base stations that are located every 100 metres in urban areas, there will be no escape from it, day or night. We’re being told it will improve our lives. But the real reason for the rollout is so that the wireless industry and governments can make untold billions by forcing us to upgrade our devices or feel left behind, as this article explains: 5G: The real story
Scientists from 41 countries petitioned the United Nations and World Health Organization with their concerns about 5G as early as 2015, based on over 10,000 peer-reviewed scientific studies that demonstrate RF radiation can be harmful to humans, animals, birds, insects, trees and plants. But the rollout has continued, almost unabated. Now it’s our turn to make our voices heard if we want this to be stopped.
Three things you can do
Here are three things you can do if you want to take action:
- Sign the international appeal.
- Sign up to SafeG’s mailing list to receive news and updates to keep you informed.
- Check if there is a protest you can attend at one of the events in hundreds of cities around the world. The most recent one took place on 25 January 2020 in 264 cities located in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bermuda, Canada, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Kenya, Malta, Norway, Netherlands, New Zealand, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom & United States (full list of cities & locations). The next protest day is on 25-26 April 2020.
Your voice counts
Protesters in various parts of the world have already persuaded local authorities to ban 5G in their area because it has not been proven safe. These include 5 district councils in the UK (Frome, Shepton Mallet, Glastonbury, Totnes and Brighton & Hove), 125 cities in Italy, and areas of Belgium, Ireland and Switzerland where 5G is banned.
Update on 24 January 2020: Slovenia became the first country to officially postpone the implementation of 5G today. The stated reason was ‘due to possible health effects of EMFs’.
Feel free to comment below if you participated in the January 2020 protest, intend to join the April 2020 protest, or plan to make your voice heard in some other way.
